Skin boosters are nicknamed ‘injectable skincare’, with multiple formulations, they work beneath the surface to nourish and revitalise your skin.
The majority of the products contain hyaluronic acid, which will intensely hydrate the lower layers of the skin. However, it is not a dermal filler, so it will not create volume, but you may have a nice plumped appearance for a day or two until it integrates fully into the skin.
Other formulations contain amino acids or collagen which work on the regeneration of the cells as well as the hydration deeper down.
Having an injectable skin booster procedure is minimally invasive and typically takes 15-30 minutes. Depending on the skin booster chosen, up to 4 sessions will be required between 2-6 weeks apart. Results are visible within a few weeks and will continue to improve even past the final session. They have minimal downtime for healing.
Top-ups are generally required 6-9 months apart with a single additional ‘maintenance’ session.
